Listen ya’ll this is just a quick post on my thoughts about China v. US tariff stuff.

If ya’ll have watched the news lately, In response to the tariffs exacted by 45/47, the Chinese Economy just went Nino Brown and snitched on EVERYBODY! They telling on all of the luxury brands, and in my opinon reaffirmed everything i’ve been saying for a while. We’ve been getting fucked by these high end businesses.
Tiktok is rampant right now with manufacturers in China telling folks that for the $3500 you spent on that one Louis-Gucci-Prada bag, it cost less that $5 to make.
Now if i’m being honest, I’m not impressed by these revelations at all. Why? Because everybody had their hands in the cookie jar, and the only people suffering were the consumers. This action wasn’t noble, it was just a response to their “cut” being taken away.
High Key, As someone who enjoys the finer things myself, I’d clocked the greed a long time ago. Shit, I remember how mad I was in Dubai a couple years back and saw how much cheaper shit was over there, with and without sales tax. I said then that America wasn’t doing us right. But High Key neither is Europe. The average consumer is paying half of their monthly income for these bags, Jewlery, shades, and whatever else you can think of and it really cost next to NOTHING. Could it be because Temu, Shein, and other China based companies are creating firm competition in this capitalist game? possibly. but again I see no nobility in the exposure. I see Greed attacking Greed.
It’s really a damn shame, but this is exactly what I mean by Pluto is smoking all of this shit out. This is what I mean by allowing it all to fall cause, all the bones is coming out of the closet on how the consumer is being taken advantage of, those that got it, and the ones that don’t.
In fact back in November I posted a video on my Youtube where I specifically talked about a potential feud between what looked like ASIA and The US. Now initially i thought it was the TikTok-RedNote rivalry, but after this last week it’s starting to look like the mess has just gotten started. Check out the Video below to see for youself. I don’t know ya’ll i foresee this thing really getting—for a lack of a better word IG’NANT.
But your mission in all of this is to decide if you want to continue to allow all these folks to play in your face or take matters into your own hands. Especially for the Entrepreneurs out here. Now that you know what’s really going on behind the scenes stop letting folks play in your face about the “quality” of your products. Personally there are plenty of fabulous designers, tech, and products that are just as good if not BETTER than the shit we’re buying on a grand scale. You may even have billion dollar idea that you’re sitting on right now but worried about comparing it to the giants out there. I’m going to say this with my whole chest—FUCK ‘EM! We put power into those brands and some of them got the same quality as a bag at dress Barn. Ya’ll see how fast folks forgot about boycotting Walmart for those dupe Birkins earlier this year…Need I say more?
